Larry J. Freeman

Larry J. Freeman (Pierre F), longtime beauty industry veteran started his career with Clairol as a professionally trained hair colorist. Pierre F joined his family business of manufactures representative’s in the professional beauty industry headed by his father S. Jerry Freeman. Together with his father and brother Richard D. Freeman, Freeman Sales Agency grew to a 7 person organization covering the 11 Western States. In 1976, Larry and his brother founded the Freeman Cosmetic Corporation. Freeman Cosmetics became an international leader in personal care products in the Salon and Mass markets.

After the sale of Freeman Cosmetics to the Dial Corporation, Larry returned to his roots founding Pure Beauty, the first high-end professional only chain of salon/stores. In 2003, Larry bought back Freeman Cosmetics and rebuilt Freeman to it former stature.

Again returning to his roots, and first love the professional beauty industry, Larry has created the Pierre F ProBiotic SkinCare. Developed with California Aestheticians Pierre F is the most luxurious affordable professional skin care solutions created by Professionals for Professionals. The products use science and nature developed with a group of leading aestheticians guaranteed to give you younger softer looking skin.

Larry and his wife Judy are benefactors of the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, having endowed 2 chairs in Cancer Research, and providing funding for the Judy and Larry J Freeman Day Care Cancer Center a building that carries their names.
