Honest Law PC is a women- and AAPI-owned boutique immigration law firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are dedicated to providing honest, straightforward legal counsel and strategic guidance to our clients. Recognizing the complexities and personal impact of immigration law, we treat each client with individual attention, crafting customized solutions for individuals and families.
Honest Law PC is founded by Yijie Yang Corbett, Esq.
Yijie is licensed in California and is an active member of American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Yijie holds a Bachelor of Art in Spanish Philology from Shanghai International Studies, a Juris Master from Fudan University, and an LL.M. from University UCLA School of Law.
Before starting her own practice, Yijie worked as a senior attorney at a top immigration firm for five years.
Yijie represents foreign individuals and their families in the extraordinary ability vsisa applications (O-1, EB-1A); start-ups and small-medium sized businesses in profession visa applications (H-1B, TN, L-1, EB-1C, NIW, EB-2, EB-3 etc.); and investors in in investment visa applications (E-2; EB-5).
She is well versed in applications with complex issues and RFE and NOID responses. She assists clients in strategizing a personalized immigration plan.
Yijie is a certified global mobility specialist and consults and assists both individual and corporate clients in U.S. outbound visa applications, and third country residence and citizenship applications. She has also worked with organizations advocating for immigrant and refugee’s rights such as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) clinics, the Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, and International Justice Program.
