The man behind Cork & Cleaver is founder, Daniel Greig. A Master Butcher by trade, Daniel has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the food industry specialising in meat retailing. His first decade was spent honing his craft at home in Australia, winning multiple awards while at it. Daniel moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2011 and has since worked with premium retailers as a master butcher, a trainer and eventually making his way to top executive level. Being observant, Daniel noticed an increasing demand among Malaysian consumers for premium meat and specialty cuts yet a shortage of skilled staff to serve them. The establishment of Cork & Cleaver would realised his passion for both serving his customers with the best meat products and sharing his skills and knowledge with the next generation of artisan butchers.
