Formerly known as Junior Sailing

Our first program was all male. And now, our programs are made up of at least 40% women of all ages. BCSB supports sailing at any age, across any religious background, gender affiliation, or ability. We started in 2004 to introduce youth to the sport of sailing and produce racers who could compete at the national level.

Our mission is to instill seamanship skills in all our program participants and provide training in sail, paddle, and power to the Beaufort Community.

Our programs range from Summer Youth Learn to Sail camp, High School sailing, private lessons, Beginner Opti and Intermediate Opti Development Teams
