Venue Description

Atmosphere
Co-op Rivington Hotel is located on the ground floor and brings together different cultures, flavors, and ingredients to represent the eclectic mix that is the Lower East Side. The sophisticated and chic design is a combination of 1970’s California and the spunky atmosphere of the LES. The space is clean and cozy, with glamorous details like long, green-lit bars covered in gold mirrored tiles, pinned leather booths, and a 30-foot communal dining table made from one piece of wood. The restaurant features an infamous photography installation of NYC celebrities and icons taken by the well-known Hollywood photographer EJ Camp. These portraits line the walls and provide a captivating backdrop; making the vibe more adventurous and edgy. Co-op is the place to go if you’re looking for a new, exciting, and intriguing spot to party.

Food
Executive Chef Victor Startek created a diverse and upscale menu that allows guests to enjoy a variety of dishes. These include special sushi rolls, like the Tuna Tuna Yuzu Sushi Roll, miso cured salmon, lobster shots, shredded pork belly tacos, and fried chicken biscuits. Staying true to the “Co-operative” principle, most of the plates are meant to be shared family-style through multiple courses. Co-op’s master mixologist, Max Petrich creates specialty cocktails and infusions with fresh seasonal vegetables, fruit, and herbs from local markets. For example, The Pink Bazooka has vodka, watermelon, basil, blood orange, and pomegranate.
